You can’t always win.
It took three days to do the picot bind off for this shawl. Then another two hours of struggling to get it blocked properly. I walked away in tears. Needless to say, I am not too thrilled with the outcome of this piece.
It is pretty, but right now I don’t really care for the color or the size (it is kind of small). But that is OK. The plan right now is to just stick it in my closet for a few weeks. I know that once I forget all the pain it caused me, I can forgive it and move on 🙂
Or better yet, someone is going to get a really cool Christmas present!
